Saltbreaker is a wordless music project based in Michigan. Employing an organic approach to recording and performing, the music is grounded and natural, hinting at a fusion of folk, post rock and new age music. Using vocals as a textural element, the music weaves stories and emotions without the use of lyrics. The band creates layers of sound with drones and uses acoustic and electric instrumentation to create their other worldly atmosphere. Saltbreaker explores musics capacity for healing and wellness.
