Samantha Coopers voice is a gentle force. Her songs speak for their sound; from contemplative respites to keen PSAs. A veteran session musician, her voice and violin appear on a wide range of midwestern albums. Sam was also selected as a 2021 NewSong finalist for an upcoming release. Her latest video single is a love note to the rights of Manoomin, aka wild rice: Let The Wave feat. Shara Nova, Jaike Spotted Wolf, Holly T. Bird & Frank Bibeau. Sam works as a facilitator via Lost Voices, an organizer, and a session musician. She co-produces Hearth & Hymn with Elisabeth Pixley-Fink (Lullaby Bangers & the self-titled Hearth & Hymn.) Additional releases include The Sound of Lasso by The Lasso, Voyager by Maraj, The Right Hands Round by Bowhunter, and four solo video singles.
