Handmade clothing and accessories for women and girls from natural, organic and recycled materials. I strive to create pieces that are not only exceptionally comfortable, beautiful and functional, but that are also firmly rooted in sustainability. I hand select all of my fabrics for their texture, drape, weight and color, as well as their environmental impact and ethical production methods. I source my fabrics from a small handful of suppliers who work closely with the mills to ensure the highest standards are adhered to in all levels of production. All colored fabrics and prints are made with non-toxic, low-impact dyes. With this in mind, I work with the following fabrics: hemp, organic cotton, bamboo, soy, linen, upcycled wool and other fine natural fibers. My work is inspired by the both the beauty of the human form and a love for the natural world. My designs are casual and elegant, stylish, versatile, and flattering without sacrificing comfort. All of my pieces are entirely my own original designs which are cut, sewn, and sometimes dyed or crocheted by me in my studio in Bellaire, MI. Many of my pieces are one of a kinds or limited edition sets. In my years as a designer and seamstress, I have also become a student of the human body and developed a sense for the way fabrics and color can be combined with form to create unique and beautiful handmade garments that flatter the female form and let a woman's inner beauty shine through.
