Whistler
Whistler formed in 2017 when bandmates Kelly Bosworth (guitar, vocals) and Donald Bradley (fiddle, vocals), and Earthwork Music’s own Micah Ling (cello, banjo, vocals) met while attending graduate school in the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University. The trio bonded over a mutual love of old songs and older tunes. They have been treating Bloomington, Indiana, locals to their tight harmonies and old-time sounds at a weekly tea house session and are proud to bring this project to Ling’s home state.
