A Daniel Kahn show is a singular experience. The musical and visual experience will take the top of your head off, rummage around a little, and put the pieces back a bit skewed. Screed, history lesson, crooning, shouting, whispered pleas and angry outbursts, all descended from a form of mutated klezmer. Mr. Kahn comes home from Germany every year for the Harvest Gathering, and you do NOT want to sleep on this spectacle. Twelve albums available going back to 2004, the most recent being Word Beggar (2021).
