Last Gasp Collective (LGC) is more than a collection of dope artists--it's a feeling. A movement. A way of life. LGC was founded by Jay Jackson and friends who believed in a vision of bringing people together to create a moving culture of fearless artists who are driven by the spirit of collaboration. This vision birthed the 10-piece band we now know as LGC. The band is fueled by their mutual love of art. Art where hip hop, jazz, soul, classical, r&b and gospel can come together and touch the hearts of people from all walks of life. Jay Jackson (MC, guitar), Venezia Jones (singer, songwriter), Xavier Bonner (saxophone), Jessica Ivey (singer, songwriter), Jordan Hamilton (cello, rhymes), Terrence Smith (drums), Jesse Lemons (trumpet), Eron Lauchie (keyboards), Joel Pixley-Fink (bass), Nicholas Baxter (percussion, poetry).
