May Erlewine has been a beloved figure in the Michigan music scene for well over 15 years now, but her powers are still growing. Galvanized by the current state of the world and how much love and fight we need to put in to try to save it, May has been releasing the most powerful work of her career. Her solo shows have been gorgeous, meditative affairs that promote healing, and her dance parties with the Motivations have helped audiences boogie the troubles away for a while.
