HEAVY COLOR is a future beat / psych jazz / hybrid-electronic ensemble from Toledo that blends traditional music from around the globe with modern afro-beat and psychedelic pop music. They have made a name for themselves regionally by way of their textural, heavily percussive sound. Comprised of Benjamin Cohen and Sam Woldenberg, their sound is heavily informed by African textures following a working trip to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
