Detroit Music Award winning singer/songwriter Audra Kubat has released 7 albums to critical acclaim in a career that spans 25 years. Composer, performer, and educator, Audra’s work has earned her a place in the community as a resource for empowerment through songwriting. Her songs are explorations into the personal and the universal, an account of the human condition and our relationship to self, others, and the natural world. Her work dives boldly into a tradition of healing through sound - holding music as the highest form of communication. Audra works to connect community to their artistic selves, teaching songwriting for all ages in a multitude of arenas. Her methods of composition articulate grace as offerings of stark and beautiful realities. She has shared bills with Aimee Mann, Rodriguez, Roberta Flack, Greta Van Fleet, The War and Treaty, Whit Hill, and Jolie Holland, to name a few. Audra Is current developing early childhood musical experiences for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
